Bear is located at the top of Southern California in
the San Bernardino Mountains. We experience a moderate
alpine climate with 310 days of sunshine and blue skies.
The
Big Bear Valley is a wonderful place to enjoy yourself.
We are conveniently adjacent to both Los Angeles and
San Diego. Whether you are looking for a high altitude
training advantage or just want a quiet place to relax,
you can still enjoy our beautiful pine and cedar trees.
Our
lake is seven miles long and fully stocked with fish.
You can fish from the shore or spend the day on the lake
in a boat. There are two public launches on the North
Shore where you can launch your boat and park. Or if
you prefer, you can rent a boat from one of our local
marinas.
